How to use this
Point values aren't fixed — they depend on how you redeem. This calculator shows a realistic range for a single program so you can decide whether to keep saving, redeem now, or transfer somewhere else. For the redemption strategy behind each number, open the full program guide for your currency, or compare every program at once with our points value calculator.
Frequently asked questions
What's the difference between the floor, Standard value, and ceiling?
The floor is what anyone can get with zero strategy — a statement credit or a fixed-rate travel redemption. The Standard value is what an informed traveller who checks partner availability should expect. The ceiling is a strong, well-booked redemption — usually premium-cabin partner space — that most balances won't hit every time.
Which value should I use when comparing a welcome bonus?
Use the Standard value. It's the realistic number for someone who puts in a normal amount of effort, not the best-case headline you'll see in ads, and not the worst-case floor either.
Why does this tool only show one program at a time?
For a single balance you're deciding what to do with, one program at a time is easier to read. If you're comparing several currencies against each other, use our full points value calculator instead.
Valuations are editorial estimates based on observable award pricing, refreshed monthly. See The Points Standard Index for the basis behind every number and our methodology for how valuations feed card scores.
